Meet the Team

Finances were a constant concern growing up for Carter Brower, whose family included his single mom, his two brothers and their grandmother. Those hardships led to an objective that persists to this day: Learn as much about finances as possible, and educate others so they can have a more positive relationship with their money than he experienced.

Carter is a financial professional who can offer both investment and insurance products and services. His desire to be an independent and relationship-focused advisor led to the founding of Libertas Financial Partners. In addition to meeting with current and future clients, his responsibilities at the practice include presenting at educational seminars, servicing client requests and conducting regular account reviews. A nearly 30-year veteran of the financial services industry, Carter has seen firsthand what works — and, perhaps more importantly, what doesn’t — and leverages that wealth of experience in his comprehensive approach to wealth management.

“Investing in the market is like planting trees: Be patient,” Carter says. “Some years you get a lot of rain, and the tree grows, and some years there is less rain, and it doesn’t. Have a plan, stick to it and don’t let short-term situations affect long-term decisions.”

Carter’s biggest source of pride is his loving and laughter-filled family, which includes his wife of 19-plus years, Holly, and their three children, Kaitlyn, Cole and Alex. Carter and Holly also recently welcomed their first granddaughter, Aurora. No two members of the Brower family are the same, but those different personalities create a fun dynamic and serve as their greatest strength. A longtime resident of Heath, Texas, Carter spends most of his free time outdoors, where he can be found traveling, cooking out or rolling up his sleeves to tackle a home remodeling project.
